From the slip factor to maintenance level, there are great options for every direciton. Here are some options for a stunning tiled shower:

  • Zellige: Handmade Moroccan zellige tiles are inherently a bit uneven, making even a glazed surface a solid shower option with some natural traction.

  • Cement: The most expansive of our lines, cement tiles offer a matte finish and match any color story.

  • Terrazzo: Whether Terrazzo transports a space to ancient Italy or contemporary Palm Springs, an allover Terrazzo-tiled shower brings depth which each natural aggregate.

  • Stone: Our stone tiles include marble, Cantera, or limestone, natural materials that exude quiet confidence.

Please consult a contractor or professional installer who can best advise on the specific project. This option should always be avoided with heavier tiles like cement or marble, which can put additional strain on the old surface and increase the risk of failure if the underlying tiles or substrate are not adequately prepared to support the tiles’ weight. Always use a strong adhesive and ensure the existing tiles are clean, level, and secure before beginning any installation.

This will depend on the specific tile, though we always recommend sealing grout in wet spaces. Please consult the installation guide to find guidance for sealer selection and methods. It will be important to reseal over time; the quickest test is to see if water forms droplets on top of the tile. If it absorbs, it’s time to reseal.
